Art Basel Miami 2016 essential map and guide mobile app.
Xipsy is an art database that helps artist and art galleries sell their artwork through a simple interface.
As an art business, Xipsy decided to create an iOS guide app for the Art Basel Miami Beach Week 2016 edition. Art Basel is a show located in Miami where leading galleries from North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa show significant work from the masters of Modern and contemporary art, as well the new generation of emerging stars. I helped Xipsy design their Art Fair Guide in collaboration with Half Helix agency.
User flow is the path user follow through the app to accomplish something. This part of the process allowed us to fulfill business and user objectives (the desires or needs the app needs to satisfy).
As part of the user-experience process, I developed low-fidelity wireframes in order to define and test the structure and interface elements of the app to achieve the main objectives.
The main purpose of the app is to inform so we designed an extremely easy navigation that can be used with one hand while the user is exploring the art fair.
